How does the Pencil Sketch effect work?

The sketch effect uses a technique called color dodge blending. First, the image is converted to grayscale. Then a blurred version of the inverted grayscale is created. These two layers are blended using color dodge math (base × 256 / (256 - blend)), which creates the characteristic pencil-stroke look.

Can I adjust the strength of each effect?

Yes. The Intensity slider (10%–100%) blends between the original image and the full effect. At 50%, you get a subtle version; at 100%, you get the maximum effect strength. The slider is available for all effects except Original.

What image formats are supported?

You can upload JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF files. The output is always saved as a PNG file to preserve any transparency and maintain maximum quality.

Will my photo be uploaded to a server?
