What unit are the crop values in?

PDF points. 72 points = 1 inch = 25.4mm. A typical A4 page is 595 × 842 points.

Can I crop different pages differently?

Currently uniform cropping is applied to all pages. Per-page cropping may be added in a future update.

Does cropping remove content or just hide it?

PDF crop boxes hide content visually but technically the underlying content is still in the file. To truly remove it, you would need to render and re-encode the PDF.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. All processing runs in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.

What happens if I crop too much?

The tool prevents invalid crop values (where margins exceed page size). The visual preview also helps you judge the result.
