Are the dice rolls truly random?

Yes! We use the browser's Math.random() function which provides pseudo-random numbers suitable for games. For cryptographic applications, we can use crypto.getRandomValues().

What does "4d6 drop lowest" mean?

This is a common D&D character creation method. Roll 4 six-sided dice, remove the lowest result, and sum the remaining 3. This gives a range of 3-18 with a bias toward higher numbers.

Can I roll multiple different dice types at once?

Currently, each roll uses one dice type. You can quickly switch between types and use the roll history to track all your rolls in sequence.

A D100 (percentile die) generates a random number from 1 to 100. In tabletop RPGs, it's often simulated by rolling two D10s — one for the tens digit and one for the ones digit.
